Thurday (A Blog, Portfolio, and Review Site): The First Hour: Strange Paradise

Are you interested in affiliating with Thursday? First off, please know that Thursday will only affiliate with art, portfolio, review, and blog sites. Of course, if you own a graphics/ resource site and would like to affiliate with Thursday as well, apply if you may, although I will be very picky when choosing sites of the graphics genre to affiliate with. I am looking to accept:

- 1 blog site
- 1 review site
- 2-4 art/ portfolio sites
- Maybe 1 graphics/ resource site

Because Thursday is a site that is of a mixed genre, I am looking for affiliates of a mixed genre as well.

Guidelines

Because I am looking to accept a mixed genre of sites, the following guidelines will be sorted into:

- Italic rules are general rules that apply to all types of sites that I am looking to accept.
- Bolded rules only apply to art, portfolio, and graphics/ resource sites.

.Be Unique and Creative/// Don't be afraid to think outside the box. Be unique and creative. Add your own special something to your creations and don't just stick to one thing! Change it up a bit and experiment!

.Nothing Illegal/// Of course, nothing illegal such as porn. Tasteful nudity is fine though, just nothing graphic.

.Personality/// Is your site a place of personality? Or will I get bored after the first visit? Personality is vital to any site since you want to HOLD the viewer's attention. If your site has me coming back for more, your site definitely has personality to some degree.

.Quality Over Quantity/// No matter which kind of site you own, you must provide HIGH quality content. If you are own review site, are your reviews thorough and of a high quality? Or are they rushed and poor? If you own a art, graphic, or resource site, are your creations of top quality? Are they unique? Are they the BEST that you could do?

.Have Reasonable Numbers/// I don't really mind the number of affiliates you have as long as you are able to keep in contact with me. However, I don't like affiliate levels such as siblings, top affiliates, etc. Even if I don't mind the numbers, if it looks like you're just listing a bunch of links, than you probably don't need MY link there.

.Befriend Me/// All of my affiliates are considered to be my dearest friends. Are you here to be affiliates with me simply to gain hits? Or are you TRULY here to affiliate with me? I will try to keep in contact with you and I would appreciate it if you with me, however, I know that it might be troublesome to try and keep in contact 24/7. I will try to keep in contact with you by email, msn, and comments.

My Preferences (for art, portfolio, graphics/ resource sites): I like a site that looks different from everyone elses, that manages to seperate itself from all the rest in some way. I don't care whether or not your site is popular, new, old, have tons of content or 1 or 2 pieces. As long as your site is unique (and I'm not using original because that word's meaning doesn't appeal to me anymore) in it's own way, all of that doesn't matter. I love vector works that are beyond the "cute" or "simple", but something more sophisticated and elegant. I also love blends that are both soft and dark. I adore creations with deep meanings and something that is truly expressive. If you do become my affiliate, I will not drop you easily and usually if I do, it may just be because you've closed your site (inactiveness is not a problem with me unless you've disappeared off of the web, lost complete contact (including comments, msn, email), etc.).

Are you still willing to apply? If so, send an application to thursday.laeyn@gmail.com. I shall reply within three days whether you are accepted or not. You may apply again after one month if you are rejected with changes. If you do not receive a reply within three days, resend your application.

All rejection letters will be sent out in the form of an informal review. I find it is the most effective way to explain why a site was accepted or not. I will tell you what I think of your site in the way I usually do when I review sites. If you do not want a rejection letter in the form of an informal review in the case that you are rejected, please state so in your application, and I will send you a blank reply. If you are accepted, the reply will not be in the form of an informal review.

When applying, please include the following information in your application:

- Your name or alias (or both)
- Your Site's title and URL
- Your email/ msn, or contact information
- Your prefered contact method (to keep in touch. e.g. msn, comments, email, etc.)
- What kind of site you own
- Why you want to affiliate with Thursday. Please give valid reasons and don't try to get away with just praise.
