Design Style: I don't exactly have set style for myself, or rather a distinct design style. I normally prefer either blending or vectoring, although I have more completed blending works rather than vectors (which remain to be completed on my computer). I would definitely say that my forte would be working with darker, earthier colors, such as browns, golds, greens, and reds. I usually prefer darker works over sparkly creations. I like pieces that are different, and that can tell a story. A work of art that is beyond simply pretty, but something that has a deeper meaning. I adore creations that are different and unique, that manage to seperate themselves from the rest of the community. Strange and weird works attract me, as well as creative titles. I love elegant things, and unfortunetly, I am very big on first impressions, be it visiting a site or choosing out a book to read. When I vector, there's no set color scheme that I prefer to stick with, I experiment with different color schemes. I don't like vectors that are simple or "cute," but something that is creative and detailed.
Personal: Although I'm Chinese and was originally born in China, I've been in Canada for more than half of my life. And I must say that english is definitely my strong point. It's actually quite ironic that I speak the english language better than I do Chinese. I'm a very verbal person as well as musical. I've been playing the violin for over seven years now and it's definitely changed my perspective and preference when it comes to listening to music. Overall, I'm a very interesting person, in the sense that everything I do contradicts each other. I love classical music, such as the music from Bond and classic pieces like To Alice. However, at the same time, I adore fast pace, hip hop and R&B music as well from various artists. Although I play the violin, I'm also a hip hop dancer with ballet roots. I'm Chinese to boot, yet I prefer the english language over my mother tongue. I'm often serious and am skeptical about the world around me. I'm quite judgemental, yet I'm open minded as well. I don't have optimistic view about the world, however, I don't like to look at the bad qualities in people. I understand myself very well, and am good at picking out the issues around other people.
I have a twisted and sarcastic sense of humour, although I can be charming and polite when I want. Sometimes, it almost seems as if I'm two person, or have split personalities. But than again, that's just me, and I wouldn't BE Anna Z if I wasn't like that.
